1. PRESENTATION

In our syllabus we have decided to develop the senses because we relieve they are very important for children. We also believe that we can globalize and extrapolate other areas of knowledge.
This unit takes up the content related to the organs of the senses that have been presented in previous courses. The knowledge acquired can make them understand the big effort made by disable people. We are going to present that the senses are made for see, hear apreciate the flavors, smell, identification of some objects by touching them...
Moreover, we are going to apply this unit in Science, Language, Artistic Expression, Music and English.
This unit is aimed at teaching children aged 3 a class of primary school 8-9 years old (2nd cycle of primary education), with 20 students and a student with a visual impairment (60%).

2. JUSTIFICATION

In this syllabus We are going to work the issue of the Senses, which belongs to the area of Environmental Awareness. It is important to understand  the senses, since they provide us with vital information that allows us to relate to the world around us safely and independently. It means that through our senses inform us as we pass the information to our brain. The sensory organs are the recipients of communication with our external (eyes, nose, ears, skin and tongue), are vigilant of our surroundings and through them we perceive everything. Without the information we receive through the five senses, we could not function as human beings. Each sense is important but has limitations. In these cases, you can use to offset other sense, but of course the most effective way of receiving information is by using all our senses in harmony.
This syllabus will consist of ten sessions, which are used for students to learn which are the senses and what function and their importance, as are the five senses, allowing us to enjoy the food, sound of music, the beauty of a sunny day, the delicacy of a baby's skin ... ultimately, life itself.
